GUIDELINES AND EXPECTATIONS
Prom 2025 Saturday May 10th, 2025 (7:00pm-10:00pm) at Harborside Grand Ballroom,
400 Main Street Newport Beach, CA 92661. Students must arrive by 8:00pm , unless they have made arrangements with an Assistant Principal or the Activities Director.
Attire- Prom is a formal event for Juniors and Seniors . School dress code will be enforced.
Bring your School ID to the dance for check in, your dance ticket is linked to it. Ticket prices: March 24th - April 28th ($95 with ASU card/ $110 without). April 29th -May 8th ($100 with ASU Card/ $115 without ASU Card).May 9th and 10th 20th $125 for everyone.
Tickets are non-transferrable, non refundable after May 6th at 1:30pm and not for resale. Guests are permitted but a guest contract must be approved by May 7th by 3:00pm.
You must enter the dance by 8:00pm or you may not be granted entry. Only students who have made prior arrangements with an Assistant Principal or the Activities Director will be allowed to enter after 8:00pm. If you have purchased a ticket and are not at the dance by 8:00pm, we will call your parent's to make sure that you are safe.
We may be breathalyzing all students at the entrance of the dance. Any student testing positive for alcohol will be directed towards our Sheriff Deputies for further analysis. We want to make sure everyone is safe and we don't have anyone who is driving to or from our dance under the influence. This procedure serves as a deterrent to student drinking and empowers students with an additional tool to make the right choices.
Students may be checked by private security for illegal or controlled substances prior to entry to the dance area. Any student who refuses to be checked will be denied entry.
Students must be dressed properly at all times. This is a district wide dress/grooming standard. Students that are out of compliance with these standards, on the first offense will not be allowed into the dance/activity. Students should wear formal attire to the dance, such as dress pants, slacks, dress shirt or formal dresses. Shoes must be worn at all times. If your shoes are uncomfortable to dance in, bring a pair of sneakers or flip flops to change into. Coat check will not accept shoes unless you have another pair of shoes to wear during the dance.
Avoid lost items or theft . Do not bring valuables or large amounts of money to the dance.
Students must be picked up by 10:15 pm at the latest. The dance ends at 10:00 pm, to avoid any consequences to attend future events, students must be picked up no later than 10:15pm.
Party Buses: All buses and limos will be checked by our administration team. Students who have violated any rules, or have an illegal substances on the bus will be directed toward our Sheriff Deputies, parents will be called and behavior consequences may be assigned.
